You're our favorite month--the month of sunflowers, changing seasons, milder temps, and for most, you become a month of reset. The summer decor gets put away and the fall pumpkins come out. Summer plants get taken to the compost, and we scurry around buying mums, asters, ornamental red, orange, and yellow peppers, and cabbage, and kale, just to name a few, to adorn our now empty summer pots and garden beds.
Here at The Vintage Farmhaus, the summer was a season of gardening, refreshing our stone walkways, and always nipping and tucking our landscaping and doing all that we do at our venue to prepare for a new season of guests. We somehow carved out time to enjoy an early summer weekend in Gulf Shores, an Alaskan cruise with 17 of our closest family members, and we celebrated one of our grandbaby's first birthdays. It was a great summer for sure, but now we look forward to the reset and kicking off our fall events this month. From bridal showers to baby showers to an 85th birthday party and a baptism party for two special young children, we will anxiously welcome our guests as we share our beautiful venue with many new and returning guests, each event as unique as the other.
